How application data is handled. The credit application collects business, contact, ownership, and identity information to process a business-purpose financing request. Sensitive Tax ID, Social Security number, and date-of-birth entries are encrypted before storage and are not copied into the general lead profile.
Information collected
Information may include business identity and location, ownership and contact details, requested financing, existing obligations, application acknowledgments, electronic-signature data, device/browser context, and records needed to support an application review.
How lendDEFY uses and shares information
lendDEFY uses application information to respond to the request, verify information, support underwriting or diligence, operate the application workflow, protect against fraud, and meet applicable obligations. Information may be shared with actual or potential capital providers and service partners for the business-purpose request, subject to applicable law and contractual controls.
SMS consent, preferences, and opt-out
lendDEFY records SMS consent only when a visitor affirmatively selects an optional SMS checkbox or enables funding-file SMS reminders and provides the applicable mobile number. Consent records include the source, time, policy version, and a protected phone reference. SMS consent is not a condition of financing. We do not sell SMS opt-in data or use it to infer consent for another person, campaign, or channel. A recipient may reply STOP to stop supported text messages, reply HELP for help, or contact applications@lenddefy.com for assistance.
Public-site usage measures
lendDEFY may record aggregate product events when a visitor opens a published financing guide, selects a language, starts a planning calculator, or starts or submits a prequalification request. These events are limited to the event type, page route, selected language, and a generic content label. They do not include form answers, calculator values, names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, device identifiers, or advertising profiles.
Retention and security
Application records are retained according to the approved retention schedule. In-progress drafts expire after 30 days unless completed earlier. No transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure; applicants should contact us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
